Dear Ladies & Gentlemen!

Below you will find preliminary information about the weekends and holidays in the embassies and the visa centers of foreign countries in December 2011 and early January 2012. Information will be updated continuously - not all embassies have planned their weekends as part of upcoming holidays.

December 2011:

December 1 - day off in the Consulate of Romania
December 6 - day off in the Consulate and visa center of Finland
December 8 -  day off in the Consulate of Austria, Portugal
December 13 - day off at the consulate and visa center of Malta
December 16 - day off in the South Africa Consulate, Kazakhstan
December 19 - day off in the consulate of Kazakhstan
December 20 - day off in the consulate of Kazakhstan
December 26 - day off in the consulate and visa center in Italy, the Netherlands, Consulate of Austria, Switzerland
December 30 - day off in the consulate of South Korea

January 2012:

January 2 - day off in the Consulate and visa  center of Malta, France
January 3 - day off in the Consulate and visa center of Malta
January 9 - day off in the Consulate and visa center of France


Consulate of Canada, Spain, Sweden - Wednesday - the weekly not reception day;
Consulate of Norway - Thursday - the weekly not reception day;
Consulate of Hungary - the last working day of each month - not reception day; on Friday – only documents delivery;
Consulate of Slovakia - Friday - the weekly not reception day;
Consulate of Romania - Tuesday, Thursday - the weekly not reception days.

In accordance with the schedule of the Czech Republic Visa Center:

December 30, 23 - in the Czech Republic Visa Center receive only (delivery not permitted)

December 26 - holiday in the Czech Republic Consulate

January  2-10 - weekend in the Czech Republic Visa Center

Also, the Embassy of Finland, on the eve of New Year’s holidays increases the time for consideration visa documents. Currently, the minimum period of review is 10 calendar days.
